Content Coordinator

Long’s Jewelers

MARCH 2025 – NOVEMBER 2025

Long’s Jewelers is a family-owned luxury jeweler founded in 1878, operating five locations across Massachusetts and New Hampshire and serving as an authorized retailer for Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Tudor, David Yurman, Mikimoto, and other prestige brands.

I was brought on to elevate and modernize Long’s digital visual language across social media, editorial storytelling, and brand content. Following an initial training period and a team transition, I assumed full ownership of the brand’s social channels — solely responsible for creative direction, visual execution, copy, and publishing across all day-to-day content.

What Mattered

I wasn’t executing a formula. I was setting taste.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

I led end-to-end creative direction for all owned social channels, shooting, styling, editing, and delivering high-volume luxury photography and video across fine jewelry, watches, and estate collections. I established a new visual benchmark for organic social photography and defined the visual cadence and narrative flow of Instagram Stories, transforming daily posting into a cohesive editorial experience.

I managed brand partner digital assets for Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Tudor, David Yurman, and Mikimoto — with direct access to each brand’s Digital Asset Management system, I selected, scheduled, and published official campaign imagery and advertising assets in accordance with each brand’s individual retailer agreements and posting requirements.

Beyond photography, I contributed copy and art direction to Vintage and Estate email storytelling, and collaborated with marketing, buying, store teams, and external brand partners while maintaining sole creative ownership of all social output.

Creative Impact

Modernized Long’s digital aesthetic into something more editorial, cohesive, and contemporary. Raised the internal standard for organic social photography across composition, finish, and perceived luxury. Delivered hundreds of polished brand-ready assets. Introduced a taste-driven approach to storytelling that prioritized beauty, flow, and emotional resonance across every platform.

Account Coordinator

Newberry PR & Marketing

DECEMBER 2022 – JUNE 2024

Newberry PR & Marketing offered a deliberately different kind of experience, corporate, client-driven, and broad. Supporting a varied roster that included independent designers, consumer products, alcohol and spirits, local restaurants, assisted living and healthcare clients, law firms, construction firms, and commissioned fine artists, I gained exposure to what PR and communications demands across very different industries.

My work was writing and communications focused, supporting press releases, media relations, event coordination, and liaising between clients and local media and political contacts. I was also involved in crisis communications work, which sharpened my instincts around brand reputation and message control.

Grounding, wide-ranging work that expanded my professional range well beyond the creative lane I was building elsewhere.

Marketing Coordinator

Loren Hope Designs

AUGUST 2019 – APRIL 2021

My relationship with Loren Hope began through journalism. While interning at Newport Life Magazine and Newport Daily News, I pitched and wrote a two-page feature on the brand and its newly opened flagship store in Newport, Rhode Island. Shortly after the article was published, the team invited me to join the company, recognizing the value of my storytelling and creative perspective.

As a small but successful brand, Loren Hope operated with a lean, highly collaborative team. I was initially brought on to support content development and social media strategy, but the role quickly expanded. Building on my writing background, I created and curated social media content, blogs, and product descriptions, and played a role in naming pieces across seasonal collections.

Storytelling was central to bringing each product to life. My writing was supported by vibrant visual content developed through close collaboration on photo shoots, ranging from fully produced studio sessions to small-scale iPhone flat-lays, videos, and motion content. Together, these efforts helped present the jewelry with energy, color, and personality across digital platforms. Over time, I contributed a substantial body of original content spanning more than a dozen capsules and seasonal collections.

Beyond content creation, I participated in product ideation and launch strategy for several successful offerings, including the brand’s ombré collection, convertible necklace designs, and the marketing of curated antique French jewelry boxes. I also assisted with in-store merchandising and seasonal window displays, helping ensure a cohesive brand experience both online and in person.

Public outreach and brand visibility were also part of my role. In 2020, I was invited to serve on the committee for the NewportFILM Friends Fundraiser, which Loren Hope sponsored. Later that year, I traveled to Oklahoma to support the brand’s annual holiday photoshoot, contributing to styling decisions, shot-list organization, and on-set execution to ensure a successful final result.

Editorial Intern

Newport Life Magazine | Newport Weddings Magazine |

Newport Daily News

Summer 2019

An interest in lifestyle writing led me to an unpaid internship at Newport Life Magazine, sponsored by the University of Rhode Island. During the summer of 2019, I worked alongside journalists at Newport Daily News, gaining hands-on experience that strengthened my reporting and writing skills. My editor at the time, Fred Albert, closely oversaw my work and provided consistent, constructive editorial feedback.

Throughout the internship, I contributed a wide range of content, from short-form blurbs in the magazine’s FYI section to managing the Red Carpet pages, which highlighted local charity galas. I also wrote bridal features for Newport Wedding Magazine’s Real Weddings section. In addition to editorial work, I supported Newport Life’s social media presence by creating engaging Instagram and Facebook posts and stories, as well as assisting with email communications.

By the end of the internship, I had written and published dozens of articles across multiple sections, gaining a strong foundation in lifestyle journalism, editorial collaboration, and audience engagement.

StyleUp began as a small creative platform offering emerging models opportunities to gain experience through collaborative photoshoots, and grew into a respected online resource connecting designers and talent throughout the Northeast.

I initially joined the publication as a writer, and later stepped into a creative leadership role when the magazine’s graphic designer departed. From that point forward, I oversaw the visual direction and content of the publication, handling graphic design, shaping editorial concepts, and guiding the overall tone of each issue. My responsibilities included designing advertisements for local designers and small businesses, editing contributor articles, and developing visual concepts that aligned with the mood of each editorial shoot.

Working closely with a small team of creatives, as well as photographers, models, makeup artists, and designers, the experience emphasized collaboration and authorship at scale. Over time, I produced seven biannual issues, each nearly one hundred pages, gaining hands-on experience in creative direction, publication design, and long-form visual storytelling.

7 Bags for 7 Cities

International Photography Contest Winner

Spring 2017

#VersacePalazzoEmpire

#VersacePalazzoEmpire

An early interest in photography culminated in winning a competitive international photography contest held by the Italian fashion house Versace in late 2016. To enter the 7 Bags for 7 Cities campaign, participants submitted an original photograph capturing something iconic from one of seven global cities. Winners from cities including Paris, Hong Kong, São Paulo, and New York were selected to attend the SS17 Women’s Versace fashion show in Milan.

The photograph shown here, an image of the Empire State Building shot on an iPhone, was selected as the winning entry for New York City. A likeness of the image was later printed on a limited-edition handbag sold exclusively in Versace boutiques in New York, marking a pivotal moment in my creative journey.

ASSISTANT

THE BEAUTY WITHIN

MODEL MANAGEMENT

JUNE 2016 – JANUARY 2017

One of my earliest roles in the fashion industry was a part-time position at The Beauty Within, a Rhode Island–based modeling agency founded in 2004 that connected high-quality talent with clients throughout the Northeast.

This experience offered an early look into an essential side of the fashion industry. I worked closely with a range of personalities in professional settings and had opportunities to collaborate creatively on photoshoots. In addition to supporting day-to-day agency operations, I assisted with organizing fashion shows and events.

The role provided valuable, real-world experience and helped establish a foundation in professionalism, collaboration, and creative coordination.
